I was really excited to try a conversion when I saw that there is a 20MB limit for the project file. My project is 40MB compressed so I'm unable to test the conversion process! 20MB is a really low limit, any technical reason for it?Thanks,Tarek
Hi,Thank you for your interest in using MyAppConverter service. The reason for the limit is to allow a maximum number of beta users to test the service and allow us to enhance it.
Can you please consider raising the limit to something more workable, like 50MB ?
+1 The Facebook SDK alone is around 14MB compressed, so a 20MB limit is pretty unusable.
A suggestion: strip out the images - or make them zero length before you submit for conversion? That should make things a bit smaller during this beta testing period? Then put them back when you are done. You could also try temporarily removing the FB lib itself - leave the reference in and remove the files - presumably it will still convert. If the FB SDK is binary it is not like the binary could be directly converted anyway. I would think that it would just link it up to the Android FB SDK in any case. Anyway just an idea. I agree that 20MB is pretty low for this period, even though I can see why it is being done.
